Junior IS Support & Training Specialist with security clearance

As a Junior Information Systems (IS) Support & Training Specialist within the multinational 1(German/Netherlands) Corps, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening digital operational capabilities. You will be responsible for empowering staff through effective training and providing critical support for CIS (Communications and Information Systems) infrastructure. Working in a dynamic, bilingual NATO environment at the headquarters in Münster, you will ensure military and civilian personnel can effectively leverage technology for mission success. This role is a unique blend of technical support, adult education, and process management within a high-security defense context.
Responsibilities:
Plan and provide CIS training for members of 1GNC staff and subordinate units on IKM tolls and informations systems, processes and procedures.
Assist in supporting and sustaining current CIS infrastructure of 1GNC Peacetime Locations (PTL) ICCW staff branches, subordinate units, external national and international agencies and contractors.
Advice 1GNC Staff ICCW DOS on measures to control and improve the technical information flow within 1GNC including user support and training on applications.
Support Change, Incident and Problem Management Process within 1GNC PTL.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in IT-architecture
Proven experience in adult education.
Experience with and courses completed for TT+ Functional Administrator.
Certificate in ITIL Foundation.
Experience with and courses completed for ITSM Tool Training (for example Service Now).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with and courses completed for MS SharePoint Functional Administrator.
Strong communication and pedagogical skills.
Advanced English skills
Nice to have:
Knowledge of strategic and tactical communication networks (esp. NLD, DEU and NATO) is preferred.
Working experience in military divisional or corps environment is preferred.
Education in computer science or electronics is preferred.
NATO C4ISR Technology Orientation (ETOC Course ID: CCC-SM-22206) is preferred.
NATO Networking Infrastructure (ETOC Course ID: CCC-DC-32237) is preferred.
Digital Communication (JADL113) (ETOC Course ID: CCC-DC-22276) is preferred.
MS SharePoint Functional Administrator (ETOC Course ID: CCC-ET-32337) is preferred.
TT+ Functional Administrator (ETOC Course ID: CCC-ET-42352) is preferred.
Proficiency in the German language is preferred.
