The Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE) is an established, world-class scientific research and experimentation facility that organizes and conducts scientific research and technology development centred on the maritime domain. It delivers innovative and field-tested science and technology (S&T) solutions to address defence and security needs of the Alliance.
Responsibilities:
Organizes and keeps all ceremonies - Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives - within their timeboxes.
Proactively identifies and resolves "blockers" (e.g., technical issues or lack of resources) that hinder the team's progress.
Mentors team members on self-management, cross-functionality, and Agile principles to improve overall performance.
Assists with Product Backlog management, ensuring items are clear and prioritized to maximize value.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
A minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in an information systems, physics or electronics related scientific or engineering discipline, or other relevant scientific discipline, and 2 years post-related experience.
An active CSM, PSM, or equivalent Scrum certification
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience facilitating Agile teams
Professional experience with project management tools, collaboration platforms, and documentation systems (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.)
Good level of spoken and written English
