Operational Acceptance and Test Analyst (UAT, OT&E, ITIL) for NATO with security clearance
Decide whether new IT services are truly ready for operational use - acceptance testing, project tracking and risk - at a multinational headquarters near Mons.
Before a new system goes live, someone has to be able to say: it is ready.
The service management office of a multinational military headquarters near Mons needs an analyst who checks that new and changed IT services are genuinely fit for operational use. You would track the projects that deliver them, keep the operational risks in view, and plan and run the acceptance testing that decides when a service can go live.
What you would be doing
- Turning operational acceptance criteria into test cases through the requirements traceability matrix, and setting a baseline for services being built or replaced
- Planning, specifying, running and recording user, site and operational acceptance tests, including performance, availability and failover checks
- Preparing test plans, readiness reviews and test reports, and following defects through to a fix or an accepted workaround
- Monitoring priority projects: milestones, dependencies, scope and schedule changes, with dashboards and quarterly progress reviews
- Keeping the operational risk register current and running periodic risk assessments
What you would bring
- A master's degree in computer science or engineering and around 5 years of relevant experience
- At least 3 years each of CIS project and service analysis and reporting, of planning and running acceptance testing, and of ITIL
- Experience of CIS projects in core communications and IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of system and service life cycle and quality management, ideally with PRINCE2 and ITIL
- Working skills in MS Office, Project, Visio, SharePoint and JIRA, and clear briefing and writing skills
- A plus: PMP, PRINCE2 or ISTQB certification, and experience in an international military and civilian setting
Why this one is worth a look
A full-year seat with an option year, at the point where projects hand over to operations and your sign-off carries real weight.
