The Hague
.NET Developer (Training and Exercise Applications, DevSecOps) for NATO with security clearance
Build and maintain the applications that run large multinational training exercises — .NET, C# and Angular, on-site in The Hague.
Computer-assisted exercises are how a multinational alliance rehearses before it has to perform.
You would be joining the team that develops and maintains the training and exercise applications behind them, working on project-provided hardware, on-site in The Hague, Netherlands.
What you will be doing
- Developing and maintaining training and exercise applications end to end
- Writing and testing code in .NET and C# with HTML, CSS, Angular and TypeScript, building the APIs behind them
- Working in an agile DevSecOps way — security is part of the pipeline, not a review at the end
- Implementing unit tests as a matter of course
- Collaborating through Git and modern development practice with an established team
What you will need
- At least three years of recent development and testing experience with .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, Angular and TypeScript, building APIs in an agile DevSecOps environment
- At least three years implementing unit tests
- Web application development on a modern framework — Angular and ASP.NET Core preferred — with excellent HTML5 and CSS
- Confident use of version control, Git in particular, and effective collaboration inside a development team
- Fluent business English, spoken and written
Why this one is worth a look
The applications you maintain get used hard, by a lot of people, in exercises that matter. It is a full-stack role with genuine ownership rather than a ticket queue, in a team that works to modern engineering standards.
