System Admin with “Microsoft COTS” for NATO with security clearance

The System Administrator (Microsoft COTS) is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and security hardening of operational workstation baselines across multiple agency networks. The role ensures the successful deployment of security updates, antimalware, and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions, as well as the automation of reporting for licensing and capacity management. The administrator will also manage user and workstation integration into a datacenter-centric infrastructure, deploy remote application provisioning services, and collaborate with the Agency’s Centralised Service Desk for incident, problem, and change management.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain operational workstation baseline for multiple networks within the agency;
Assure successful deployment of security updates and antimalware/data loss prevention endpoints;
Assure security hardening based on security settings and group policies;
Provide automated reporting on utilisation of resources with regards to licensing and capacity management;
Load users and workstations into a datacentre - centric infrastructure;
Install and document remote application provisioning services based on, but not limited to, Windows Remote App concept;
Liaise with the Agency's Centralised Service Desk for incident, problem and change management
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Knowledge of the entire Microsoft Operating system product line administration, with focus on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 as client operating systems;
Deep knowledge of implementing and administering large active directory environments;
Experience of Windows Administration and relevant certifications; e.g. MCITP.;
Experience in client provisioning and bare metal install using MDT and SCCM as toolsets;
Experience in troubleshooting client OS and software provisioning problems;
Experience in Application Provisioning technologies;
Experience in REACH Support and NCIA Core Enterprise Services procedures;
Fluent in English.
Optional:
Thin client / zero client deployment technology;
Experience in remote application provisioning services based on, but not limited to, Windows Remote App concept.
