IKM Officer for NATO with security clearance

The Information and Knowledge Management (IKM) Officer is a key role responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the information and knowledge management framework for NIMSC. The incumbent will ensure the accessibility, integrity, and effective flow of information across NIMSC and the broader NCIA, directly supporting operational effectiveness, innovation, and business transformation.
Responsibilities:
Duties:
• Provide support and services in the areas of information, communication and technology management
• Ensure accessibility, availability and integrity of official and working level documentation for NIMSC and its communications with the broader NCIA and customers
• Build and maintain a structured and effective framework that includes tools, procedures and best practices for information and knowledge management
• Facilitate the flow of information and knowledge up, down and across NIMSC and the broader NCIA
• Lead, change, propose to management and drive improvements in how NIMSC manages information and fosters knowledge creation
• Support the innovation and business transformation through clear, concise processes and best practices that enhance effectiveness and focus on delivery of projects and services
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• At least 3 years' experience of using the SharePoint tool set and administering IT.
• At least 3 years' prior commercial or NATO/NCIA experience in information knowledge management
• Thorough experience in evaluating and implementing processes, requirements and systems for information, document/records management, and collaboration
• Thorough experience in coordinating and managing projects in a multicultural environment
• Thorough experience in leading change management efforts
• Have knowledge and experience of best practices and standards in the field of information, records and knowledge management
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in lifecycle management of digital information
• The Contractor personnel shall be able to listen, speak, read and write in English to or above the NATO SLP 3333 (= good/minimum professional) in accordance with STANAG 6001.
• Shall have the following "Desirable" attributes:
A holistic understanding of NATO and NCIA.
Experience in the development of documentation and report writing.
Critical thinking and problem-solving ability, approaching tasks and problems with strong organisational skills.
Accurate, focused on details and repetitive work lover.
Responsible and trustworthy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
