System Administrator with Microsoft COTS specialisation for NATO with security clearance

We’re searching for a seasoned System Administrator with specialized expertise in Microsoft Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products. Your primary responsibility will involve preparing and maintaining operational baselines for workstations across various networks, ensuring optimal deployment of security patches, antivirus/malware protection, and data loss prevention tools. Furthermore, you’ll lead efforts in securing environments through appropriate hardening policies, resource utilization tracking, license management, and efficient end-user device loading into centralized data center architectures. As part of your day-to-day duties, you’ll also assist in application provisioning, liaising with internal service desks, and performing root cause analyses to address critical incidents.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain operational workstation baseline for multiple networks within the agency;
Assure successful deployment of security updates and antimalware/data loss prevention endpoints;
Assure security hardening based on security settings and group policies;
Provide automated reporting on utilisation of resources with regards to licensing and capacity management;
Load users and workstations into a datacentre - centric infrastructure;
Install and document remote application provisioning services based on, but not limited to, Windows Remote App concept;
Liaise with the Agency's Centralised Service Desk for incident, problem and change management;
Have the capacity to troubleshoot and perform RCA with critical mind
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Knowledge of the entire Microsoft Operating system product line administration, with focus on Windows 10 and Windows 11 as client operating systems;
Experience of Windows Administration and relevant certifications; e.g. MCITP;
Experience in client provisioning and bare metal install using MDT and SCCM (MCM) as toolsets;
Experience in troubleshooting client OS and software provisioning problems;
Experience in Application Provisioning technologies;
Experience in Group Policy Management, Active Directory
Knowledge in scripting and automation mostly PowerShell but not limited to.
Fluency in English.
