Junior Project Manager with security clearance

As a Junior Project Manager within the multinational 1(German/Netherlands) Corps, you will support the planning and execution of critical CIS (Communications and Information Systems) projects. Operating within the G6 Projects branch, you will help coordinate efforts to modernize and sustain the digital infrastructure essential for headquarters functions and potential deployments. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop project management expertise within a structured, high-security NATO environment while contributing to the operational readiness of a premier allied military command.
Responsibilities:
Assist in directing, coordinating, implementing, executing, completing, and monitoring CIS-related projects within 1GNC Peacetime Locations (PTL) and related deployed domains.
Support network planning and management activities related to static infrastructure projects.
Actively support the Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes within the 1GNC PTL environment.
Utilize ITSM (IT Service Management) tools and ITIL best practices to ensure project alignment with service management frameworks.
Develop and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standing Operating Instructions (SOIs) in relation to developments and changes within the CIS infrastructure.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Proven working experience in a multi-national environment.
Proven experience in project management.
Certificate in ITIL Foundation.
Experience with and courses completed for ITSM Tool Training (for example Service Now).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Advanced English skills
Nice to have:
Knowledge of strategic and tactical communication networks (esp. NLD, DEU and NATO) is preferred.
Education in computer science or electronics is preferred.
NATO C4ISR Technology Orientation (ETOC Course ID: CCC-SM-22206) is preferred.
MS SharePoint User Training (ETOC Course ID: CCC-ET-32336) is preferred.
Working experience in military divisional or corps environment is preferred.
Proficiency in the German language is preferred.
