The EDI Specialist is responsible for establishing, monitoring and maintaining integration between the internal enterprise application (SAP) and external suppliers and customers, via a Cloud-based EDI solution hosted by a managed-services provider. In addition to providing world-class support to a globally diverse customer and trading partner base, the employee will independently lead initiatives to establish new connectivity and integration with applications and trading partners using a variety of EDI standards. The specialist will also build foundational expertise in API-led integration and AI-driven automation, by enabling real-time, scalable, and intelligent data flows with suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily EDI and SAP integration processes, ensuring timely error resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to analyze and resolve complex integration issues.
- Lead the coordination and delivery of EDI change requests and new trading partner onboarding.
- Develop test plans, coordinate testing with partners, and ensure solution quality.
- Manage relationships with trading partners and provide guidance to the managed services team.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Fluency in English
- Strong knowledge and experience, VDA and/or EDIFACT, X12 standards
- Experience with Automotive industry standards and processes
