Become a key player in our client's Warsaw-based Data Foundation team, the central hub powering data-driven success across the organization. You will be part of a collaborative and skilled group that builds and maintains the essential data infrastructure used by the entire company.
In this role, you will work on a wide range of engineering initiatives that serve multiple critical business domains, impacting hundreds of data solutions. A primary and exciting focus of the team is leading our strategic migration from a legacy on-premises Oracle & Informatica platform to a modern, cloud-based data platform using Databricks on Azure. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while collaborating closely with international colleagues, including Data Analysts and other specialized teams.
We are happy to hear from you if you have:
- 5-8 years of experience in a Data Engineer/ETL Developer role
- Experience with the Microsoft Azure environment.
- Competence in Python/PySpark or Spark & Python.
- Proficiency with SQL.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Engineering concepts, such as data integration, ETL/ELT processes, Star Schema/Snowflake, Kimball modeling, Data Vault 2.0.
- Skills and experience in performance tuning.
- A genuine passion for design and implementation of Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and AI solutions to solve business challenges.
- Strong ability and eagerness to learn rapidly and apply new knowledge effectively.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Advanced English skills
