This is a temporary project-based position for a duration of 1 year. You’ll be part of our client’s Data & Analytics team, contributing to sophisticated data modeling and architecture for high-priority business solutions. The key responsibility involves transitioning a crucial business application from older mainframe systems to a cutting-edge cloud-based data warehouse on Microsoft Azure.
Key responsibilities:
- Data modeling, information architecture, and data warehousing, with a particular focus on Data Vault 2.0 architecture
- Analyzing and translating business requirements into concrete, value-creating solutions.
- Design and implementation of advanced data models based on Data Vault 1.0 and 2.0 methodologies to support business-critical needs.
- Development of robust data warehouse architectures that ensure a compliant, scalable, and efficient data foundation.
- Utilization of tools such as SQL for effective data processing and analysis to support business objectives.
- Acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, capable of conveying complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
- Problem-solving through analysis of complex data challenges and development of effective, data-driven business solutions.
We are happy to hear from you if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis.
- Experience in gathering business requirements.
- Experience in designing data solutions architecture from source systems to user-facing solutions.
- Experience with data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience in data modeling, including methodologies such as Data Vault 1.0 and 2.0 and/or Kimball.
- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Experience working on a Cloud Data Platform; familiarity/experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Databricks.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
