We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated API Platform Engineer to join our client's team. Your work will directly impact the scalability and operational stability of the IT solutions, and you'll play a critical role in shaping the tools and procedures that improve deployment, monitoring, and logging. You will be part of an agile team responsible for maintaining a strategic integration platform to ensure that the platform is continuously expanded with new capabilities to support business needs. If you are passionate about building scalable platforms and improving operational efficiencies, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Your primary tasks will be designing, implementing, and maintaining our client's API platform. You will develop tools and procedures for monitoring, logging, and improve deployment. As a natural part of your work, you will need to prepare documentation for the use of API’s, while supporting the rest of the organization in using the platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain API platform and application security solutions in Java (JDK 21).
• Deploy and maintain the software solutions on the OpenShift platform.
• Prepare documentation and support the organisation in implementing the solutions developed in the team.
• Work on tools and procedures for monitoring, logging, and improving the deployment.
• Perform operations such as patching and certificate management.

We are happy to hear from you if you have:

• Experience with IBM API Management Platform, Linux/Python scripting, OpenShift/Kubernetes/Helm, and CI/CD.
• Background in IT/software engineering, with a deep understanding of platform design and development.
• Experience in API Lifecycle Management is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong analytical and structured approach to problem-solving and work processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
