As a Data Scientist, you will support high-value analytics initiatives ranging from cross-functional simulations to enterprise-wide programs like the Engineered Value Chain. You will work in a Center of Excellence environment, alongside domain experts and technical professionals, applying cutting-edge methods to unlock business value from data.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute low-to-medium complexity analytics initiatives as a technical individual contributor
- Develop and deploy statistical models, business simulations, and data-driven solutions to solve organizational challenges
- Utilize SQL and Snowflake to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data for advanced analysis
- Design dashboards and visualizations in tools like Power BI to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
- Apply machine learning and statistical techniques such as clustering, time series forecasting, and neural networks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics solutions with business objectives
- Follow Agile methodologies for sprint-based project execution and continuous delivery
- Guide and mentor junior data scientists in the application of data science methods
- Contribute to the development of data governance, cloud architecture, and integration best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field with 6–9 years of experience
OR Master’s degree with 4–6 years of experience
OR PhD with 1–3 years of relevant experience in business insights and data visualization - Strong proficiency in:
- SQL and Snowflake for data preparation and integration
- Python, R, or SAS for statistical modeling and analytics
- Power BI or similar tools for data visualization
- Advanced analytics techniques such as time series analysis, clustering, and neural networks
- Experience with cloud platforms and modern data architectures
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitLab for version control and deployment
- Solid understanding of data governance, IT operations, and solution integration
- Willingness to work on-site
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex technical insights to business and technical stakeholders
- Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture
- Creative and critical thinking to develop innovative, scalable analytics solutions
