Contracting Specialist

As part of our Procurement Operations team, you’ll play a key role in driving efficient, compliant, and risk-aware contract management processes that support mission-critical operations around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and draft Master Agreements, Statement of Work (SOW), and Amendments ensuring compliance and alignment with company standards and industry best practices.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain end-to-end responsibility from drafting to closure, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for business stakeholders, suppliers and legal counsel
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOX requirements, and procurement standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and analyze contract lifecycle performance
Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven experience in contract management, preferably with exposure to 180+ contracts annually.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial and business law, with practical experience drafting and negotiating various contract types (MSAs, SOWs, Amendments, etc.).
- Ability to independently manage the full contract lifecycle, from initiation to execution and archiving, in alignment with legal and compliance standards.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, with a focus on non-commercial terms (e.g., indemnity, liability, confidentiality, IP).
- Experience working with or within procurement teams, particularly in support of operational and strategic sourcing activities.
- Proficiency with contract workflow tools and procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, NextGen) and comfort navigating system-driven approval processes.
- Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset, with high attention to detail and the ability to spot and mitigate contractual risks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex contract terms in a clear, business-friendly manner.
- Experience working in a global or shared services environment, collaborating across functions and regions.
- Bachelor’s degree (a law degree is a plus, but not required)
- Willingness to work on-site from the client’s office in Katowice during the second shift (2 PM – 10 PM CET).
Location: Katowice, Poland (On-site, 5 days/week)
