We are seeking an experienced and proactive Observability Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, operation, and maintenance of the cutting-edge logging platform. The position involves working with a variety of technologies including Elastic Stack (Beats, Kibana, ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kafka) and contributing to the development of a global observability platform. This is an exciting opportunity to optimize and standardize logging and monitoring solutions for development teams across the organization.
Start your day with the flexible morning hours and:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the logging platform, including key technologies such as the Elastic Stack (Beats, Kibana, ElasticSearch, Logstash), and Kafka.
- Participate in the creation of a global observability platform to enhance organizational insights and monitoring capabilities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to standardize and optimize logging and monitoring solutions for development teams.
- Contribute to defining and refining the organization's log management processes, ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the observability platform, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Actively engage in continuous improvement and optimization of observability tools and practices.
We are happy to hear from you if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles, working in complex, large-scale environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with key technologies, including:
- OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
- Logging and monitoring solutions such as Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Kafka, and Grafana.
- Deep understanding of log management, monitoring, and observability concepts.
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Proven ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Fast learner personality with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
- Willingness to travel to Denmark occasionally.
